Many people know that Meals on Wheels provides homebound seniors with warm, nutritious, home-delivered meals, but what you may not realize is half of every meal is unfunded. The difference is raised through grants, special events, and the generous donations from people like you. As rising gas and fuel costs drive the price of home-delivered meals up, we need more help. Help us Bridge the Gap in funding with a donation today. $1,440 feeds a senior for an entire year. This cost is comparable to one day in the hospital. People want to remain in their homes. Meals on Wheels helps maintain senior independence with a warm meal, but also a daily health and wellness check-in, giving seniors and their families peace of mind. |
