Tri-City Meals on Wheels

Services: Home delivered meals to homebound seniors 60 years of age and older. Assistance and referrals for services as needed.

Weekly delivery schedule: Monday – Friday. Weekend meals delivered Friday for some seniors.

Dining hall meals: Tri-City Cafes; six locations throughout Berkeley, Emeryville and Albany.

Meal Options: Meals feature old favorites and popular ethnic specialties. All meals are prepared with no added salt and are low in fat.

Age range served: Seniors (60+)

Charge per meal: $3.50 recommended contribution; if this is too much, then clients contribute what they can.

Additional information: Project Open Hand prepares and delivers the Berkeley portable meals for the Tri-City Nutrition program.
