Enhancing your support of Meals on Wheels of Alameda County through an Employer Matching Gift or making your donation through your company’s Workplace Giving program is a wonderful way to help isolated senior neighbors in our community. This page includes details that will be helpful to making those gifts.

Double Your Gift with Employer Matching Gifts

Employer matching gifts are a great way to double your impact with Meals on Wheels of Alameda County.  Many employers match current (or even retired) employees’ donations and volunteering.

Use the search tool above to see if your company participates, and to access the forms, guidelines, and instructions you need to submit a request for your gift and volunteer time to be matched. Once you complete your form and gift, your company will send the match to MOW once they receive our verification.

Workplace Giving Campaigns

These annual campaigns, most often held in the fall of each year, provide an opportunity to support Meals on Wheels of Alameda County via payroll deduction. Look for us listed as a charity of choice in the following campaigns:

At your request, Meals on Wheels of Alameda County can provide information about our work including providing printed materials, giving a presentation to leadership and employees, or staffing an information table.

Volunteer Hours Matching Gifts

If you volunteer directly with Meals on Wheels of Alameda County, those hours may be eligible for an employer matching gift. Many companies match employee volunteer hours with a corporate cash contribution.
